About the Opportunity:

The position will provide essential support to the HR team and Talent Acquisition Lead in talent attraction, recruitment and on-boarding as well as maintaining professional HR service delivery for the City of Darwin, in accordance with the relevant legislative frameworks, best practice principles and organisational needs and demands. The position is expected to assist in the delivery of HR Projects, contemporary recruitment solutions, and fosters proactive, client focused, capability-based end to end services and support to all stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for, but not limited to:-

  • Provide essential support to the HR team to ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of HR data, including position management, metrics, data reporting, and record keeping.
  • Provide end to end resourcing and recruitment services in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Lead for City of Darwin by providing advice and support to ‘hiring managers' on recruitment processes and activities to ensure the engagement of the best candidate for the position.
  • Coordinate and process Requests to Recruit, labour hire requests, advertising, referrals, reference checks, pre-employment requirements and other relevant offer processes as required.
